INTRODUCTION
Let’s start from 1948, when Israel becomes a nation state under the UN. The Arab Higher Committee, the Arab League and other Arab groups all rejected the 1947 partition plan because they felt that although the Palestinian Arabs greatly outnumbered the Jews, the Jews were to receive the greatest allotment of land - 10,000 Jews get 56% of the land and over 800,000 Palestinians get 42% and some say even less. Sucks to be Palestinian in 1948. And some of the land had already been purchased by Jews, which complicated matters even more. It was additionally infuriating to the Arabs that the US supported most of the plan (UN Resolution 181), only suggesting Israeli and Palestinian provinces set-up rather than nations states. But everyone thumbs their noses at the US. So, anyway, five Arab nations attacked Israel the day after their nation was born. The Arabs thereupon quickly lost. Humiliated, the Arabs and Palestinian Arabs fell to sporadic resistance for the time being.

The next major conflict occurred in 1956:
Encyclopedia Britannica: Quote:
“Suez Crisis, (1956), international crisis in the Middle East, precipitated on July 26, 1956, when the Egyptian president, Gamal Abdel Nasser, nationalized the Suez Canal. The canal had been owned by the Suez Canal Company, which was controlled by French and British interests.” End quote.
Ok, I’m writing now: The Suez Crisis was partially provoked by a British and American decision not to finance Egypt’s construction of the Aswan Dam, as they had promised, because of Egypt’s growing ties with the Czechs and the Soviets. Gamal Nasser, Egypt’s President, reacted to the American and British decision by declaring martial law over the canal and then seizing control of the Suez Canal Company. Nasar believed tolls collected from ships passing through it would pay for the dam’s construction within a few years. British and French representatives feared Nasser might close the canal and cut off shipments of oil flowing from the Persian Gulf to Europe. Diplomat efforts failed, Britain and France prepared military operations to regain the canal and hopefully get shed of Nasser. They found a jolly ally in Israel’s PM, Golda Meir, and others in the Israeli government, whose hostility toward Egypt had been worsened by Nasser’s blockage of the Straits of Tiran (at the Aqaba Gulf) and by many raids by Egyptian-supported commandos into Israel during 1955–56.
The US and the Soviet Union, fearing an escalating, even possibly global war, used their infleunce to get the French, Brits and Israelis to pull back - basically handing Nassar a victory. But that’s all Egypt ever got, and in the future, they’ll lose the Sinai.

TIMELINE TO TERROR, CONTINUED:
1964 The PLO is formed and behaves like another terrorist group. They are rigidly dedicated to the destruction of Israel.
1967 The Six Day War: Also called the June War or the Third Arab-Israeli War or Naksah, was a brief war that took place June 5–10, 1967, and was the third of the Arab-Israeli wars. Israel’s decisive victory included the capture of the Sinai Peninsula, Gaza Strip, West Bank, Old City of Jerusalem (with its Temple Mount), and Golan Heights; the status of these territories subsequently became a major point of contention in the Arab-Israeli conflict.
How the damn thing started: before the war, attacks conducted against Israel by Palestinian guerrilla groups based i Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan increased, leading to Israeli reprisals. In November 1966 an Israeli strike on the village of Al-Samūʿ in the Jordanian West Bank left 54 wounded and 18 dead, and, during an air battle with Syria in April 1967, the Israeli Air Force shot down six Syrian MiG fighter jets. Sucks to be the Jordanian Air Farce in 1967. And earlier, Soviet intelligence reported in May that Israel was planning a campaign against Syria, and, although inaccurate, the information further heightened tensions. (See the Britanica article.)
Figure 4: History.com’s brief video on the Six Day War explains all you need to know about Palestinian and Arab frustration. Was Israel’s victory God’s Will? American aid? Israel’s amazing military prowess? Arab incompetence? Crazy luck? Maybe a combo of all, but somehow, Israel kicked ass!!
1973 The Yom Kippur War breaks out (6 October through 25 October). This is also known as the Ramadan War, or the October War, was a conflict fought from 6 to 25 October, between Israel and a coalition of Arab nations - led by Syria and Egypt. Combat was centered in the Golan Heights regions. These areas had been occupied by the Israelis since the 1967 war. Egypt's initial objective in the war was to seize a foothold on the eastern bank of the Suez Canal and then leverage these gains to negotiate the return of the rest of the Sinai. The war began when the Arabs launched a surprise attack against Israel on the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur, which had occurred during the 10th day of of Ramadan. Following the outbreak, the US and the Soviets started massive resupply efforts to their respective allies, which led to a confrontation between them, producing a near-super power show down. After this, with a bit of silent pressure, the Arabs were not successful; Israel held nearly all its area, and everyone shut the hell up and went home. (See the Wikipedia article).
1978 Camp David Accords: In September, I-can’t-believe-he-was President Jimmy-my-trousers-are-too-short-Carter held secret meetings with Anwar Sadat and former Irgun terrorist Leader, and then Prime Sinister, Menachem Begin. The three stooges later announced a Peace Accord between Egypt and Israel. The framework called for addressing Palestinian territory questions - uh, without the Palestinians’ participation. And they ain’t diggin’ it! Bummer.
This is fresh fodder for more war. The accords hold, but both sides keep slinging rocks and firing rockets. Anwar is assassinated in 1981 by extremists for having recognized Israel.
Figure 5: Anwar Sadat, Jimmy Carter, and Menachem Begin shake hands during the Camp David Accord signing ceremony at the Outhouse, 1978. Nice guys now.
1982 - Lebanon Civil War: The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) invades, attacks and knocks the snot out of the PLO, and Lebanese militant groups, following a series of attacks and counter-attacks between the PLO operating in southern Lebanon and the IDF that had caused civilian casualties on both sides. The operation was launched after henchmen from Abu Nidal’s thugs tried to assassinate Israel's ambassador to the UK, Shlomo Argov. Israeli Prime Sinister, weird-dude Menachem Begin blamed Abu Nidal's enemy, the PLO, for the incident and then used it as an excuse to invade. Disagreement by organizations in Lebanon trigger civil war there, which was exacerbated by the PLO - Israel conflict that bled into Lebanon. A ceasefire is achieved eventually that holds, but not before the military barracks bombings in Beirut.
1993 - 1995 The Oslo Accords: The Peace talk results in Oslo, Norway between Israel and the PLO. The first Accord is reached in September 1993 under UN 242 and 338 recognizing the Palestinian right to Self-Determination, as hillbilly-horndog President Bill Clinton’s big greasy face hovers over Yitzhak Rabin and Yaser Arafat as they shake hands. After violations, a second accord is signed but it all falls apart after a couple of years, because most don’t really want peace and they fight and toss stones until the accords are dead as Bill Clinton’s BS.
Figure 6: Hillbilly Horndog Bill Clinton hovers over short-shits Rabin and Arafat. Is Bill silently thinking, “Hurry it the hell up! I got chicks waiting!”
2006 Lebanese War From: (Note: several relatively smaller events have omitted) Quote, from Al-Jazeera:
“In an operation into Israeli territory, Hezbollah killed three soldiers and captured two. Hezbollah demanded the release of Lebanese prisoners in exchange for the Israeli soldiers. But as Hezbollah sent rockets and Israel responded with airstrikes, the July War broke out and lasted 34 days.
Approximately 1,200 Lebanese people died and 4,400 were wounded, mostly civilians. Israel, meanwhile, reported 158 deaths, most of them soldiers.
“2006 wasn’t as much a war between Lebanon and Israel as much as it was between Hezbollah and the latter,” Rabah said.” End quote.
OK, I’m writing again: Fortunately, on August 11, 2006, the United Nations Security Council approved Resolution 1701 in an effort to end the fight. It was accepted by the Lebanese government and Hezbollah and the Israeli government by 13 August 2006. The ceasefire took effect on August 14, 2006. But many believe Hezbollah was the winner of this conflict.
Figure 7: YouTube video expressing a victory for Hezbollah in the 2006 War in Lebanon. Israel’s Olmert disagrees. But no one actually defeated Hezbollah; they still have a massive presence in Lebanon. And they’re backed by Iran.
And now, we arrive where we started, in October 2023 and the current Israel - Hamas War.
Figure 8: This end goes up, damn it! Hamas militant morons play with really big rockets - hey dude, watch my head! (Beforeitsnews.com.) But they’re also playing with World War Three.
Figure 9: Israeli jets, helicopters, armed drones, and naval patrol ships continue to blast northern area of Gaza City into the Stone Age as IDF armor surrounds the perimeter. As Hamas militants fire a few rockets and sling big rocks, have all the residents left? Will a ground invasion follow? What of the southern half of the city? Is it ever going to be safe?
God help us all.

Erdogan from Turkey wants to broker a peace deal and gives 24 hours notice to ceasefire all warring parties. Hopefully that will help solve the issues.
